Women in Health and Safety is seeking men and women to join the committee. WIHS is a thriving network of people who support gender equality and want to see women flourish in our profession - would you like to make a difference?

WIHS has hubs for committees in London and North/Midlands

As a member of the committee there are four key requirements:-

You host an event yourself every year you are part of the committee or you play a functional role. An event can be a mini-meet in a pub, or a full-on networking do with speakers. This will always include finding a sponsor, a location and speakers. We are looking for two functional roles too - social media manager and events coordinator. If you take one of these roles you don't have to run an event.
All committee members to attend the WIHS main meeting of the year at Safety & Health Expo , 19-21 May 2020
You attend or dial in to the London meeting 3 times a year OR be part of the North/Midlands branch
You write up your event for SHP or liaise with them for a journalist to attend.
